Cotton Canvas is a dense, firm, woven material, it is durable and relatively inexpensive. Cotton canvas is easy to care for, and work with and it takes to dye very well, it is also breathable and treatable.

Once used for utilitarian products such as sails and tents, Cotton Canvas is very strong, durable and able to stand the elements as well as being tear resistant. For these reasons, cotton canvas is the perfect fabric for outdoor furniture, upholstery as well as sport gear, trainers and bags.

Care Guidelines

Caring for your fabrics & handmade items

Always wash your fabric on its own for the first wash.

Fabrics may have dye or print residue left over from the print / dye process.

You should avoid washing your fabrics with zips, Velcro etc and ensure fastenings are closed before washing finished garments.

Natural fibres will have a small percentage of shrinkage, washing your fabric prior to cutting your fabric is recommended.
