Cord fabric is a vertical ribbed fabric, woven cords come in various weights and widths, jumbo cord tends to be larger width ribs compared to smaller ribbed fabric like baby cord also commonly called needle cord.
cord also comes in a jersey base with a velour feel to the ribs.
woven cord is suitable for trousers, blouses, tops, jackets, skirts, dresses, pinafores etc.
jersey cord is suitable for many of the above items plus it can make joggers, onesies and various other makes suitable for stretch patterns
