The term woven is in reference to how a fabric is produced. Some wovens may be stretch wovens. This is normally due to the fibres used and not organic stretch like knit fabrics.
A stretch woven is not the same as a knit fabric, a stretch woven generally describes a fabric with minimal give, normally in one direction. The amount of give will vary depending on the fabric.
