This may refer to many different types of fabrics, ie cotton poplin, cotton lawn, brushed cotton / winceyette, double gauze, towelling, quilting cotton, cotton interlock, cotton jersey, curtain weight cotton, canvas cotton, cotton jersey jaquard, cotton teddy & cotton fleece etc.

100% cotton doesn’t typically contain any stretch when woven, however if cotton is knitted together ie for jersey or interlock or made on a loom it may have some stretch.
