Crushed velour is a smooth flowing, shiny fabric, the added Spandex gives it a great stretch. This fabric has a unique texture achieved by pressing the fibers in various directions, creating a plush and slightly wrinkled appearance. It can be used for clothing, upholstery, and home décor.

ADDITIONAL CARE GUIDELINES
care should be taken to avoid washing with items that may cause damage to your fabric/garment, ie Velcro, zips, towels, jeans etc
we recommend washing your fabric on it’s own the first time as there can sometimes be some dye residue left over from dying/printing process
natural fabrics can have some shrinkage, this is expected with natural fibres and washing before cutting your pattern is recommended.
optical brighteners are not recommended for dark fabrics, they can cause coloured fabrics to fade faster.

Fabric Length
All of our fabrics are sold in 0.5m increments unless otherwise stated in the title.
Our price automatically reduces when you add 2 or more 0.5m, discounts are applied at the checkout.
Add 2 for 1m, 3 for 1.5m etc
Fabrics are cut in a continuous length.
If ordering larger quantities (over 5m), it may be necessary to send your fabric in more than 1 piece. Many of our fabrics come on 10m bolts.
We will always do our best to keep your fabric in a continuous length.
If for any reason we can’t keep your fabric in a continuous length under 5m you will be contacted.

Care Guidelines
Caring for your fabrics & handmade items
Always wash your fabric on its own for the first wash.
Fabrics may have dye or print residue left over from the print / dye process.
You should avoid washing your fabrics with zips, Velcro etc and ensure fastenings are closed before washing finished garments.
Natural fibres will have a small percentage of shrinkage, washing your fabric prior to cutting your fabric is recommended.
